Farley Girls is a truly lovely bit of Southern style comfort tucked away on historic Post office Street on Galveston Island. We were lucky enough to have friends who had been there before, and were willing to introduce us to this excellent cafe.
When you first pull up, you will find that the only parking is a few spots along the street and a pay lot. Don’t panic – Farley Girls will validate parking for you so you can relax and enjoy your meal.
The first thing I noticed was the ambiance of the place. I felt like I was stepping into a old-fashioned antebellum along the Natchez Trace. While the ceiling is painted black, it only helps to reflect outside light within the dining room, giving the entire restaurant an airy, open feeling, much like the patio outside.
The beer selection is on kitchy display, while the wines are conveniently stored in a lovely bit of wall shelving, adding their own bit of atmosphere to the room.
As for the menu, each item is fresh and appearances are not deceiving. Let our photos speak for themselves. Everything our party ordered was outstanding and delicious!

Chicken & Waffles

Shrimp Tacos with coleslaw and remoulade

Onion Rings

French Dip Au Jus
